Michael Barry Smith

 Michael Barry Smith is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician based out of Kitchener, Ontario, who originally hailed from Northern Ontario. 

Smith began writing music at the young age of 13 and is a multi-instrumentalist who has played drums, guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards across several local bands. He released his debut album titled 77 

back in 2003.

He continues to record and put out music independently, often collaborating with fellow artists like Steve Gutoskie & Randy Solski. His music is available across major digital streaming platforms: 

• Life On The Line (Train 301): An album and single released in early 2026, leaning heavily on his deep familiarity with the rail industry.
